The father of a slain policeman who was killed in an encounter with militants in Najibhat area of Baramulla Wednesday said that he is proud of his martyred son.
Maqsood Ahmad Sheikh, father of J&K policeman Mudasir Sheikh who was martyred in Baramulla encounter said that not only him but the whole family, the whole clan is proud of his martyred son.
“We are proud that he attained martyrdom while fighting. He saved the lives of thousands of other people,” the slain cop’s father.
Pertinently, Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar on Wednesday said that the three Jash-e-Muhammad Pakistani militants were killed in Kreeri gunfight.
As per reports, The IGP Kashmir was talking to reporters on the sidelines of the wreath laying ceremony of the policeman, who was also killed in the gunfight, said that today at different locations across Kashmir nakas were established and in a chance encounter in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district three Jash-e-Muhammad Pakistani militants besides our one Jawan also received martyredom, he said in such encounters forces have to face such collateral damages.
The top police officer said that these militants were active since long here and now we’re in a mission to damage in Srinagar, appreciated Baramulla police and Army for killing them.
