TRAL JUNE 02 :
President Municipal Council Tral shot dead by unknown gunmen in Tral . Reports said that unknown gunmen fired upon Rakesh Pandit S/o Brij Nath Pandit of Tral Bala C injuring him critically. He was shifted to hospital but succumbed to injuries. One lady has also reportedly received bullet in leg in the incident. She has been shifted to Pulwama hospital for treatment.The lady has been identified as Asisa Mushtaq .She has been reffered to SKIMS Soura Srinagar,.
Rakash Pandit was President of Tral municipal Council.
