Srinagar: PDP Additional Spokesperson Mohammad Rafique Rather greeted the whole Muslim ummah in particular to people of J&K on the auspicious occasion of Shabe-Qadar.
In his message, he said that this holy night provides us an opportunity to pray for Almighty’s blessings and strive for being compassionate, pious and dutiful.
He asked the people to follow the cardinal principles of love, affection, amity and communal harmony enshrined in all religious teachings to promote a culture of tolerance and brotherhood and urged the well-off people to not forget the needy,poor, downtrodden, orphans, and destitutes and help them in this holy month to seek the maximum mercy and blessings from Almighty Allah “Tabarak Tallaha”Rafique Rather has also requested the authorities to make complete arrangements for facilitation of devotees visiting shrines and important worship places for night long prayers on Shab-e-Qadr, and has urged the administration to make adequate arrangements in respect of transport, medical facilities, cleanliness and uninterrupted water and power supply.On this occasion, he prayed for peace, brotherhood and tranquility for the region in general and the people J&K in particular.
