Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday hoisted a 108-foot national flag and inaugurated a heritage museum in the Akhnoor area of Jammu.

Earlier, Rajnath Singh, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), participated in the 9th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day event at Tanda Artillery Brigade in the Akhnoor area. He also raised a 108-foot national flag.

The event was graced by Chief of Defence Staff, LT Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and prominent leaders under stringent security measures.

The newly inaugurated museum offers a vivid depiction of historical military events, displaying weapons used in various conflicts in Jammu and Kashmir. Sculptures of esteemed war heroes further enrich the museum’s narrative, paying tribute to the valor of India’s armed forces—(KNO)
