SC allowed appeal filed by state and quashed the J&k high court order in case state of j&k v/ s Dr. Saleem ur Rehman, the then Director health services kashmir,. The Apex Court directed vigilance organization to continue with investigation of case FIR no. 32/12 u/ s 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) of P. C. Act and120 B RPC registered against the then director and other co conspirators. The case relates to misappropriation of huge amount of govt money by way of effecting purchases of sub standard medical kits under NHRM in 2010.
