Srinagar, Aug 5 :

e Health Agency (SHA) Jammu and Kashmir has issued strict directions to all Empanelled Health Care Providers (EHCPs) for the immediate submission of pending claims under Policy Period-7 (PS-7).

As per a circular issued by the Chief Executive Officer of SHA a copy of which lies with news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, several pre-authorizations under PS-7 have been approved, but the corresponding claims have not been submitted by certain empanelled hospitals, leading to delays in claim settlements.

“All Hospital Administrators and Nodal Officers of Empanelled Hospitals are directed to ensure that all pending claims for patients discharged under PS-7, where pre-authorizations have been approved, are submitted within the next two days without fail,” the order reads.

The SHA emphasized that failure to comply with these directions could affect timely claim processing and overall service delivery under the scheme. (KNC)
