Says 81 people detained for Questioning, 70 released, 11 persons under questioning

Doda, Sep 15:

Police in Doda have cautioned social media users against circulating provocative or inflammatory content.

Addressing press conference, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Mehta as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said that posting videos, statements, or any material hurting religious sentiments will attract strict legal action, and the Social Media Monitoring Cell is actively tracking suspicious accounts.

He informed that 81 individuals had been detained so far, of which 70 were released, while 11 remain under questioning.

Meanwhile, the SSP said a high-level committee has been constituted to investigate the unfortunate death of an innocent girl in Pul Doda and to fix responsibility. (KNC)
