Deputy commissioner Anantnag has ordered for the attachment of Tehsildar Kokernag and assistant commissioner revenue has been directed to conduct enquiry within two weeks.
“Whereas a number of grievances have been raised in Tehsil Kokernag regarding various issues of public importance; and despite repeated assurances from Tehsildar Kokemag, the issues have not been redressed; and it has been further reported that the secrecy of the official matters have been compromised in the office of Tehsildar Kokernag; and Whereas this office has received multiple complaints of the area regarding non-availability of Tehsildar due to which public suffers badly.” Reads the order,
“Whereas keeping in view the gravity of the issue, it is necessary to conduct an indepth enquiry, therefore, pending enquiry, Tehsildar Kokernag is hereby attached with Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Anantnag who shall conduct enquiry into the issue and submit a detailed enquiry report within 2 weeks positively.” order reads further.
“In the meanwhile,Sheikh Ansar Hussain,Tehsildar Larnoo shall hold the charge of Tehsil Kokernag till further orders.” Order reads further.
