Srinagar, Jan 23 :

At least ten flights to and from Srinagar Airport were cancelled on Friday due to a NOTAM in force at Delhi Airport and adverse weather conditions, including ongoing snowfall, at Srinagar, officials said.

According to airport authorities as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, multiple flights operating on the Srinagar–Delhi sector and other routes were cancelled as of this morning, affecting both arrivals and departures. The disruptions were attributed to operational restrictions at Delhi Airport and poor visibility caused by snowfall at Srinagar Airport.

At least ten flights to and from Srinagar has been canceled at Srinagar Airport so far, official said.

Passengers have been advised to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before heading to the airport.

Authorities expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to travelers and said further updates would be shared depending on weather and operational conditions. (KNC)
