The HTEACON-2024, organized by J&K Health Technical Employees Association – Kashmir (J&K HTEA), was held today at SKICC under the theme “Empowering Healthcare, Enhancing Lives”, with participation of about 200 delegates. The conference aimed to advance the skills of allied health professionals, including radiographers, laboratory technologists, dental technologists, and ophthalmic technologists, emphasizing their pivotal role in improving healthcare delivery and patient care.

- Scientific Sessions: The conference featured sessions on the latest developments in radiography, laboratory medicine, dental healthcare, and ophthalmology to boost the expertise of allied health professionals.
- Dignitaries in Attendance:
Honorable Minister for Science and Technology, ARI, and Trainings, Mr. Satish Sharma Ji, attended the event and appreciated the technologists’ contribution towards upgrading healthcare services.
Dr. Syed Abid Rashid (IAS), Administrative Secretary of Health and Medical Education, joined virtually, praising the initiative and boosted moral with his inspiring words.
- Recognition of Efforts: Technologists from various districts were felicitated for their exceptional work in healthcare.
- Future Plans:
Mr. Shah Faisal, General Secretary of J&K HTEA, stressed the importance of such conferences and announced plans for district-level CMEs and seminars.
