Says, “Tiranga Is My Strength, My Heartbeat”; Lauds Forces for Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev

Thousands of people joined the Tiranga Yatra from Dal Lake on Tuesday, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said the national flag is his “strength and heartbeat” while honouring the sacrifices of soldiers and martyrs.
LG Sinha, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), flagged off the Tiranga Yatra from Dal Lake, where thousands of people proudly participated to honour the national flag.
Thousands of people, along with LG Sinha, CM Omar Abdullah, cabinet ministers, officials, police and civil administration personnel, men and women, college students, and people from all walks of life, participated in the rally.
Sinha, while speaking on the occasion as per KNC, described the flag as the symbol of “our unity, pride and shared identity.” He paid tributes to “our forefathers and bravehearts who laid down their lives to keep the Tricolour flying high in its full glory.”
Sinha lauded the soldiers of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, along with the armed forces and Jammu & Kashmir Police, for what he said was “avenging the Pahalgam terror attack and safeguarding the nation’s honour.”
“Today is the day to celebrate the success of our great nation; however, we should also reflect on our duties and build on our achievements,” the LG said. He stressed that the foundation of a modern and prosperous Jammu & Kashmir must rest on the sacrifices of soldiers from the Army, CAPFs and Police.
“Tiranga is my Dharma. Tiranga is my strength. Tiranga is my heartbeat,” Sinha said, adding, “For the sake of duty, may we be born again and again on this holy land.” He concluded with, “Victory to Mother India.” (KNC)
