Three persons were arrested during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) conducted by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Srinagar Police along with Police Station Bemina at Dal Colony in Bemina area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Saturday sources said.
Police sources told news agency that the operation was carried During the search, posters were recovered from the possession of the arrested persons, they said.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 119/2025 under Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) has been registered at Police Station Bemina, they said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Owais Mubarak Itoo, son of Mubarak Itoo, resident of Pandushan, Shopian; Hilal Ahmad Hajam, son of Abdul Razzaq Hajam; and Javid Ahmad Hajam, son of Mohammad Yousuf Hajam, both residents of Chadoora Brenwar, They added.
Further investigation is underway, sources said.
