A delegation of Traders Federation Baramulla led by president, Er Tariq Mughloo held a meeting with Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla, shri Amod Nagpure IPS on Saturday. Besides, several officer bearers of the federation . During the meeting various issues pertaining to Baramulla town were discussed with the SSP Baramulla especially the congestion of traffic in the town during peak hours. The federation members apprised the SSP Baramulla how blocking diversions (dividers) on the national highway from GuruNanak road to the General Bus stand is adding miseries for the people both traders and commoners which is putting an adverse affect on business activities in the town. The Federation members requested the SSP for removal of these blockages that could ease traffic congestion in the town. SSP Baramulla assured the federation that meeting will be called with Traffic Police to sort out the issue in coming days or an alternate arrangement will be made to ease out this traffic mess in the town. At the conclusion of the meeting Federation thanked SSP Amod Nagpure for his efforts in curbing drug menace in the district.
