A two-day Pahari Literary and Cultural Programme was organised by the pahari section of jk cultural academy. Pahari section Head Mohd Ayub Nayeem welcome chief guest and other dignitaries. The event, themed around the promotion of Pahari literature and heritage, witnessed enthusiastic participation from writers, scholars, students and cultural enthusiasts.

MLA Uri Dr. Sajjad Shafi Uri, graced the programme as the Chief guest, highlighting the significance of preserving and promoting Pahari language and cultural identity.

The first day of the programme was held today at Town Hall, Lagama Uri Baramulla, events drew active public involvement and were dedicated to celebrating local literature, poetry, and cultural expression.

The Academy extended warm thanks to all attendees for their presence and support.

The event was jointly coordinated by Adil Saleem (JKAS) and Hervinder Kour (JKAS), with attendees expressing appreciation for the efforts made to promote Pahari language, literature and art at the grassroots level in Uri.
