Srinagar, May 18, SNS: Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) apprehended two persons from Srinagar’s Batamallo area on Tuesday morning and recovered brown sugar like substance from them.

Well-placed sources told SNS Kashmirthat a team from CIK led by Inspector Sajad Ahmed after receiving specific input, intercepted a load carrier (JKo2BG 2430) and after frisking the two persons on board including the driver recovered 800-gram brown sugar like substance.

Sources said that both the persons were arrested. They have been identified as Shakeel Sheikh and Kursheed sheikh, both resident of Batpora Dildar Karnah are of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The load carrier has also been seized.

Sources said that both these arrests were made near Labour Commissioner’s Office in Batamaloo Srinagar.
