Today morning one under trial in Sub Jail Baramulla Committed suicide .Superintendent Sub Jai Baramulla Barkat Husain told SNS Kashmir that early in the morning one under trial namely Muneer Ahmad Gujar Son of Mohmad Ibrahim Gujar R/O Gujar Pati Zaloora Sopore has attempt to commit suicide hanging himself with the Ceiling fan in barak witch is earmarked for prayers.
He said that The other inmates of the barrack immediately informed jail officials who took the detenue to GMC Baramulla in unconscious state.However the detinue succumbed on way.He said that ofter completing medico legal formalities the dead body will be handed over to leagal hears for lost rights.
The SP Jail told that the under trial was involved in case FIR No :15/2016 under section 302 RPC of P/S Sopore and was lodged in District jail baramulla since from 30-01-2016.
