Srinagar, June 22 :

National Investigation Agency (NIA) is carrying raids at multiple locations, SKIMS Soura officials said on Wednesday.

Official sources told news agency, Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), that NIA sleuths with the assistance of police and CRPF are carrying out raids in connection with a case related to militancy.

In Srinagar raids were conducted in the residences of Nazir Ahmad son of Mohammad Ramzan (vegetable seller) at Habba-Kadal and Shah Faisal son of Khursheed Ahmad Shah, a resident of Sutrashahi. Both were brought to Shaheed Junj police station by the NIA team, sources said.

Another team of NIA along with police raided Nephrology ward no 4 of SKIMS Soura and apprehended one person identified as Irshad Ahmad Elahie (24) son of Farooq Ahmad, a resident of Redwani Payeen of South Kashmir’s Kulgam.

Similarly, raids were conducted at other parts of Kashmir. (KDC)
