Sopore, Jun 12: Two cops and two civilians were killed several others got injured after suspected militants attack joint forces in Arampora Sopore.
Official sources said that two cops and two civilian were killed several others got injured after suspected militants attack joint forces in Arampora area near main chowk Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
He said that the injured were rushed to hospital where two cops and two civilians were declared dead on arrival and injured are being treated and further details were being ascertained.
The official said that area has been cordoned off to nab the attacker.
Official sources that at least 7 persons were injured including four cops and three civilians after suspected militants attacked a police party in Sopore today.
They said that all the injured were shifted to sub-district Sopore for treatment where two cops and two civilians were declared dead on arrival.
The officials sources said that three other were critical including two cops and a civilian and they were being treated at the hospital.
Meanwhile, hospital authorities at the hospital also confirmed SNS Kashmir that two cops and two civilians were brought dead to the hospital while three others were injured including two cops.
One slain civilian identified as Manzoor Ahmad and Bashir Ahmad both resident of Kraltang.
Three cops including one SI and two civilians have been referred to Srinagar and their condition is stated to be very critical.
