Five persons on Thursday sustained injuries in a road accident in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a car bearing registration number JK16 B-1916 met with an accident at Wayil near hope disability centre.
The car rolled down into deep gorge after the driver lost his control over the wheels.
In the mishap five persons received injuries and were immediately taken to nearby hospital where from doctors referred them to SKIMS Soura hospital for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, a doctor at local hospital confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch and identified all injured as Fayaz Ahmad Mochi son of Ghulam Mohammad Mochi of Shuhama Gbl age about 32 years, Farman Balti son of Mohd Hassan Balti of Gutlibagh 15 years, Umer Rashid Mir son of Abdul Rashid Mir of Gutlibagh age 21 years old, Sheeba Shah daughter of Gh Ahmad Shah of Dhobi Pora Gbl age 22yrs
and Danish Shafi Ganei son of Mohd Shafi Ganei age abt 28yrs of Khimber Hazratbal Srinagar.
The doctor further said that among one injured Umer Rashid is critical.
Meanwhile, police in this regard has registered a case and started further investigation.
