Srinagar, Oct 8 :

The Congress-National Conference alliance has prevailed over its nearest rival Bharatiya Janata Party by winning eight out of nine seats in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) polls, so far.

The information available with GNS, says that the Congress has won the Tai Suru, Pashkum, Ranbirpora, Choskore and Chitkan and on the other hand it’s ally National Conference won Bhimbat and Padum seat so far.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has won Stakchay seat.

The counting for the other remaining seats was going on – when this report was being filed.

NC Congress 16 . BJP 2.. BJP senior leader and former chairman council Haji Anayat Ali also lost.(Inputs from GNS)
