Baramulla: Varmul Civil Society has expressed serious concern over the closure of coaching centres across Kashmir owing to rising number in covid19 cases in J&K.

A meeting of Civil Society Baramulla headed by Er Tariq Mughloo was held in Baramulla in which the decision of the government to close coaching centres was discussed.

On the occasion members sought the intervention of J&K Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha on this issue. Civil Society Members urged the administration to review this government decision as it pertains to the future of our future generation who have already lost three more precious years due to pandemic in the world.

Er Mughloo said that when every thing is open including government offices and government sponsored events and functions are held on daily basis in J&K then why only coaching centres in Kashmir were singled out.

Mughloo said that coaching centres are already following all the SoP’s and protocols for the safety of the students and staff. Mughloo said that government should review its decision keeping in consideration future of the students. Mughloo said that decisions taken in the haste by the government will have far reaching consequences and all the stakeholders were not taken into confidence. Mughloo said the decision of government has left parents across Kashmir perturbed and want government to rescind its decision with wasting any time.
