Budgam, Feb 21:

After busting the gang of vehicle lifters, recovering stolen vehicles from the, police in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district have made two more arrests in this regard and have recovered two more stolen vehicles.

Pertinently, police in Budgam district recently had busted an inter-district gang of vehicle lifters, arrested four accused and recovered eleven stolen vehicles from them.

A police official said that in this case two more stolen vehicles Honda City and Vitara Breeze were recovered from the Watarhal area of district Budgam. The said two recovered stolen vehicles were installed with fabricated registration numbers. The number of recovered stolen vehicles has now mounted to 13.

“The investigation of the said case is going on. More arrests and recoveries of stolen vehicles in the instant case are expected,” the official said. (KNT)
