In view of undertaking girders’ work at Nashri viaduct, J&K traffic police Thursday said that the vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) would remain suspended between Nashri and Navyug tunnel on 24th and 25th November i.e. Friday and Saturday

As per the news agency , the J&K Traffic Police said that the traffic movement would be suspended on NH-44 from the intervening of 23rd and 24th November and would extend till Saturday (25th November).

“No vehicle shall be allowed after 2100 hrs from Qazigund towards Jammu and from Udhampur towards Srinagar on 23-11-2023 and 24-11-2023 in view of launching of girders at Nashri viaduct, fixing of jet fans at Peerah and T5 tunnel to ensure safety of general populace, travellers and drivers,” the J&K Traffic Police said.

They also advised people to contact traffic control units Jammu, Udhampur, Ramban and Srinagar for regular updates.
