4 Drug Peddlers arrested; 35 grams of Heroin, 35 grams of Charas & 2.2 kgs of Poppy Straw like substances recovered at Delina Ghat & Harthrat Pattan; Cases registered.

During naka checking at Delina Ghat, Police under the supervision of PSI Showkat Ahmad, IC PP Delina stopped vehicle bearing registration No. DL3CAD-2779 for checking boarded with three persons and during checking of the vehicle 35 grams of contraband Heroin like substance was recovered from them and the vehicle was also seized. The *drug peddlers who were identified as *1.Jan Mohammad Lone @ Jagawar S/O alate Mohd Maqbool Lone R/O Shaheen Mohalla Delina 2. Nadeem Ahmad Mir S/O Bashir Ahmad R/O Darpora Delina 3.Maroof Ahmad Khan S/O Mohd Younis Khan R/O Ramgai Uri* were taken into custody.
During naka checking at Harthrat Pattan, Police under the supervision of PSI Zilal Ahmad, IC PP Mirgund witnessed suspicious movement of a person and on noticing Police naka party tried to flee from the spot who was apprehended tactfully. During his personal search and of the carrying bag who was in his hand 35 grams of contraband Charas and 2.2 kgs of Poppy Straw l like substance was recovered from him.The *drug peddler who was identified as *1. Javid Ahmad Mir S/O Ali Mohammad Mir R/O Chenabal Pattan* was taken into custody.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla & Pattan and investigations set in motion.
