SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 28 :
The Director General of Police, J&K Dilbag Singh, today presided over a function here to bid adieu to Joint Director Prosecution PHQ, Ichpal Singh on his superannuation.
On the occasion, Dilbag Singh recalled the services of the retiring officer and said that the officer worked with dedication throughout his career. He said that Ichpal Singh remained posted at various key posts in different capacities and added that he during his services contributed exceptionally well.
The DGP congratulated him for having a successful career and wished him health and blissful post retirement life. The DGP then presented the Mementoes to the retiring officer on behalf of the Police Pariwar as a mark of honor and affection.
Ichpal Singh thanked the DGP and other police officers for their love and cooperation in his service career. He said that he was proud to be a member of J&K Police.
AIG (Communication) PHQ, Manoj Kumar in his opening remarks while acknowledging the contribution of the outgoing officer conveyed his best wishes to the retiring officer and prayed for his good health and success post-retirement.
Shri Ichpal Singh was appointed in Jammu and Kashmir Police in 1989 and during his services in the department remained posted at various key posts which included SPO ZPHQ Kashmir, CPO CID Headquarters, DDP ZPHQ, Kashmir, DDP State Vigilance Commission, JDP CID Headquarters and attained superannuation as JDP police headquarters J&K.
The farewell function was attended by Spl. DG CID J&K R. R Swain, ADGP (Hqrs) PHQ, M.K Sinha, ADGP (Coordination) PHQ, Danesh Rana, IGP (CIV) PHQ Alok Kumar, Director Police Telecom J&K, Mushtaq Ahmad, AIsG of PHQ and other senior officers.
