When i joined Govt Higher Secondary School Delina,i was new and nervous. School was abuzz with teaching learning activities. We were given introductory lectures of every subject. Then Qazi Syed Sajad sir came to our class. It was a joint class of all the streams. Before starting his lecture he asked us “what subject have you chosen and why” “what is difference between Medical,Non Medical, Commerce and Humanities” What do you know about career opportunities in Humanities”
Students gave mixed answers. Then Sajad sir in his unique amiable style answered all the asked questions. He explained so clearly the meaning of science and Humanities. Not only this he gave brief introduction of every subject viz chemistry, zoology,Botany, Business studies, accountancy, Education, economics, History,Anthropology and his subject political science. Entire class was satisfied and i felt sigh of relief and got attracted towards Humanities in general and political science in particular.
His advise that “one should know something of everything still resonates in my mind” Although all the teachers are teaching us with utmost dedication, what is different in Sajad sir is his cordiality, student centric teaching and above all interactive atmosphere. Sajad Sir’s class is just like a family discussion for students. He is never offended with any sort of question. Sajad Sir’s teaching has had a profound impact on my learning experience. His unique approach, passion, and dedication have made his classes engaging, informative, and inspiring.Firstly, Sajad Sir’s ability to simplify complex concepts is remarkable.
He uses relatable examples, analogies, and visual aids to explain difficult ideas, making them easy to grasp. While teaching constitution in class 11th, he said like a washing machine or any gaget has a user manual and booklet with it, a country has a constitution. Therefore his clarity helped me understand concepts and topics I previously found challenging.Secondly, his enthusiasm for teaching is contagious. Sajad Sir’s love for the subject matter is evident in every lesson, making me excited to learn. Interestingly he create his own acronyms. Like B²-P for South Asian States.
This make us easily remember the topics and concepts. His energy and passion create a positive learning environment in the class and encourage students to participate and engage with the subject. Thirdly, Sajad Sir takes a genuine interest in his students’ progress. He offers personalized guidance, support, and encouragement. This thing has helped me overcome obstacles and achieve my goals. He keenly check our notebooks and held timely tests. His willingness to help us understand each doubt instill confidence in me, and I appreciate his dedication.Fourthly Sajad Sir’s whatsapp class group is a blessing. He encourage and keenly watch every students response in the group. Not only that he ask random questions in the group and after reading all the replies he write his nicely woven reply. Lastly, Sajad Sir’s love and concern for his school is exceptional. I often see him planting flowers, trimming grass and cleaning campus. And in doing so he never feel shy. By his actions he has taught us the dignity and value of every work.
Sajad sir’s patience, empathy, and sense of humor make him an exceptional teacher. He creates a safe space for questions, discussions, and debates, allowing students to express themselves without fear of judgment. In conclusion, Sajad Sir’s teaching has been a transformative experience for me. His unique approach, passion, and dedication have inspired me to learn, grow, and succeed. I am grateful for the opportunity to be his student and look forward to continued learning under his guidance. May our Sajad sir live long.
