Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday hailed the inauguration of 125 infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) as an “unprecedented achievement,” calling it a testament to India’s commitment toward Viksit Bharat and the government’s unwavering focus on strengthening border connectivity.
Speaking at the inauguration of 125 infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Singh as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said, the scale of the BRO’s accomplishment reflects the nation’s growing capability and preparedness in remote and strategic regions.
Referring to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, the Defence Minister said the Armed Forces responded with exceptional precision during Operation Sindoor.
“When our Armed Forces responded to the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam and executed Operation Sindoor with precision, the world saw what happened to those terrorists,” Singh said.
He added that the forces displayed both courage and restraint during the counter-operation. “We could have done much more, but our forces exercised restraint along with bravery and acted only as much as was necessary.”
Singh said that the success of the operation was enabled by improved connectivity and timely logistical support to forward areas, which allowed security forces to respond swiftly and effectively.
“The operation’s success was possible because of strong border connectivity and efficient logistics, which empowered our forces to act with strength and precision,” he said. (KNC)
