Handwara, April 15:

A 25-year-old youth died after falling from a mosque slab in Rajwar Handwara this morning.

As per reports reaching News Agency that the tragedy unfolded after one Mohammad Saleem, son of Mohammad Yousuf, lost his life after falling from the slab of a mosque in the locality.

Saleem was sprinkling water on the slab when he accidentally slipped and fell, sustaining a severe head injury, the reports said.

He was immediately referred to GMC Handwara, however he died en-route.

Initial claims suggested he died due to an electric shock; however, doctors have denied this and confirmed that the cause of death was head trauma.
