A youth was injured after being stabbed in Nowhata area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Friday, while the police said that the accused has been arrested in short time.
A senior police officer told the news agency that victim (name withheld) resident of Nowhata was attacked with a knife in his native area.
In the incident, he received grievous injuries following which he was shifted to hospital, where his condition is said to be stable,” he said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and attacker has been identified as Zubair Ahmed Bhat of Rajouri kadal, Srinagar arrested for stabbing & grievously injuring a person with knife. FIR No 27/2023 under sections 323,341 & 307 of IPC registered in Nowhatta PS. Weapon of offence also recovered.
