Says one of them was involved in killing of army havildar in 2019

SRINAGAR, JULY 10:

Three Lashker-e-Toiba militants were killed in a gunfight in Ranipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday, officials said.

One of them identified as Arif Hajam was involved in killing of Army Havildar Manzoor Ahmad Beigh of 162 TA on 6th June 2019, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told GNS.

He said that encounter had ensued in the afternoon and two militants were killed in intial phase of operation while as Hajam was killed latter.

He said that two other militants were also locals.(GNS)
