The Department of School Education in Jammu and Kashmir is inviting applications for the positions of Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) and Director, J&K State Council of Educational Research and Trainings (JKSCERT).

The Eligibility for this post is Open to officers from Central/State/UT Governments, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Organizations.

Applicants should meet one of the following criteria: Holding analogous posts on a regular basis, Possessing 3 years of regular service in a position with a pay scale of Rs. 37,400-67,000/- and a grade pay of Rs. 8700/- along with 3 years of experience in Educational Administration at a senior level (equivalent to Pay Level of Special Secretary to the Government of J&K or above).

The Age limit for this post is not more than 57 years old as of January 1st, 2025.

The candidates should have Strong management skills to lead the organization. Keen interest and experience in promoting innovation in public examinations and curriculum development.

The Selection will be made by the Government based on the recommendations of a Search Committee.

Print a signed copy of the online application form and submit it along with testimonials to the office of Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, Srinagar/Jammu within 21 days from the publication of the online advertisement.

Last date to fill online application form: January 20th, 2025 and the last date to submit hard copy of application with testimonials: 21 days from the publication of the online advertisement.
