Srinagar, Oct 13 :
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi, IPS on Monday inaugurated the newly established General Mess at District Police Lines (DPL) Srinagar.
The facility has been set up to improve the welfare and working environment of police personnel posted in Srinagar, providing them with better amenities and services.
SSP Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, along with other senior officers, was present at the occasion and accompanied the IGP during the inaugural ceremony.
