An Indian Army Cheetah helicopter crashed in the Tangtse region near Leh on May 20. Three officers, including a Major General, were fortunate to survive the crash. The incident occurred on Wednesday but was reported on Friday.
A Lieutenant Colonel and a Major were piloting the single-engine helicopter, while the passenger onboard was Major General Sachin Mehta, General Officer Commanding of the 3 Infantry Division. SNS KASHMIR
