The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday directed all the administrative departments to address and mark all the papers and files to Arun Kumar Mehta, who has appointed as new chief secretary of Jammu and Kashmir following the appointment of BVR Subrahmanyam as OSD in ministry of commerce and industry, government of India.
In an order, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), commissioner secretary to the government, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi said that all the administrative departments are directed to address and mark all the papers and and files to Arun Kumar Mehta from May 31.
“Consequent upon the appointment of Shri B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, IAS (CG: 1987) as Officer on Special duty in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and appointment of Shri Arun Kumar Mehta, IAS (AGMUT:1988) as Chief Secretary, J&K, it is hereby ordered that all the functions of the Chief Secretary, J&K shall now be disposed of by Shri Arun Kumar Mehta, IAS,” reads the order.
The order reads that accordingly, all the Administrative Departments are directed to address/mark all the papers and files to Shri Arun Kumar Mehta, IAS w.e.f. 31.05.2021.KNO
