The incident took place at Bemina where the man lives alone since his children are living with their mother Hamida Matta at Lane G Alamdar Colony Rawalpora which is working (employee)in JK Bank.

Reports said that the man Zahoor Ahmad Bhat was attacked multiple times by his son with the cricket bat and according to locals, it seemed that he did so under the influence of the drugs.

He said that his son was instigated by his wife to carry out attack on him so as to eliminate him.

Zahoor said that he has decided to disassociate from his wife and children adding that he tried his best to save the relationship, but the same is not possible given the hostile nature of his wife.
