JAMMU, JANUARY,04 :

A high level delegation of Traders Federation Baramulla on Thursday held meeting with J&K chief secretary, Atul Duloo in summer capital Jammu. The delegation was led by President Federation Er Tariq Ahmad Mughloo. The other participants included vice president Javed Ahmad, treasurer Irshad Rasool, former president Qazi Ishfaq , n excutive members Intikhab Alam

In the meeting several issues related to town Baramulla and district came up for discussion and chief secretary Atul Duloo who has also served as deputy commissioner of Baramulla in late 90’s assured full help in resolving the issues related to Baramulla town and district. On the occasion Federation also handed over memorandum to the chief secretary in which several demands pertaining to Baramulla were highlighted that included potable water supply from Botapathri and Shranz to Baramulla town which has been the long pending demand of residents of Baramulla. The facelifting and improvement of national highway from Khawajabagh to Baramulla town, construction of state of art mini secretariat building in Baramulla, conversion of custodian land at Kanlibagh into play ground, converting Cooperative land into parking slot, the construct of Khel goan at Azadganj Gulnar park which I’d vacant, installation of MRI and CT Scan at Government Medical College Baramulla, charging of ebuses at State Garage near Microwave complex, construction new office Executive Officer Municipal Council Baramulla, police post Baramulla, overhead bridges at Kanispora and Khawajabagh, construction of new Ayushman hospital at the old hospital building Baramulla, construction of new tehsil office building at Baramulla and additional staff for Municipal Corporation.

At the end of the meeting Er Tariq Mughloo expressed gratitude to chief secretary for giving them audience and assurance to full fill all the demands highlighted in the memorandum.
