Ahead of the budget session of J&K Assembly slated to commence from tomorrow, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday chaired a joint meeting of National Conference and its allies at his residence here.

Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the meeting which commenced this afternoon was attended by the NC, Congress, CPI (M), AAP and independent legislators.

Prior to the meeting senior NC leader Mubarak Gul told reporters that a joint meeting of the allies has been called to finalize the strategy for the upcoming budget session.

“We want to take all our allies on board to counter BJP and other opposition parties,” he said. The meeting was on, when this report was filed—(KNO)
