Srinagar, Jun 8 :

At least three persons were injured after an ambulance collided with a car in Mawar in Handwara of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports reaching GNS said that an Ambulance (108) bearing registration number JK02BS 0717 and a Santro DL 10C 2087 collided near Grameen bank Qalamabad, resulting in injuries to the three persons.

The trio was immediately evacuated from the site to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The injured persons have been identified as Irshad Ahmad Peer (35) son of Mohammad Hussain Peer, resident of Yahama Muqam; Iqbal Ahmad Sood (21), son of Mohammad Shareef Sood, resident of Boniyar Baramulla and Mohammad Shafi Ganie (35) son of Habibullah Ganie resident of Trehgam.

Confirming it a police official told GNS that they have taken cognisance into the incident. (GNS)
