Says family members of victims be given financial assistance

Srinagar, Jan 12 :

National Conference president and Member of Parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday urged the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to strengthen security to ensure Rajouri like attacks are not repeated.

Talking to reporters in Srinagar, Dr Farooq, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said Home Minister has the responsibility to meet with the families and come up with some financial assistance for them.

Farooq was replying to a query over Amit Shah’s scheduled visit to Rajouri tomorrow to meet the families of those who lost their lives in a militant attack in Dhangir village on January 01.

He also said Amit Shah should ensure security is strengthened to prevent such incidents from happening in the future—(KNO)
