BARAMULLA ,JANUARY, 10:
Baramulla Police held a farewell programme for the outgoing DIG NKR Baramulla Shri Udaya Bhaskar Billa-IPS, SSP Baramulla Shri Rayees Mohammad Bhat-IPS, Sh. Junaid Wali-JKPS. SDPO Uri, Sh. Hilal Khaliq-JKPS, SDPO Tangmarg, Sh. Qazi Mehmood, SO to DIG NKR & Sh. Dheeraj Kumar, DySP (Prob) on their transfer at Dak Bungalow Baramulla. At the onset of the event the new DIG NKR Baramulla Shri. Vivek Gupta-IPS, SSP Baramulla Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS was welcomed.
On this occasion Cdr 79 Mtn Bde, Cdr 10 Arty. Bde., Cdr 12 Inf. Bde., Cdr 161 Inf. Bde., Cdr 10 Sector RR, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, COs of Army & CAPF, SSsP of NKR Baramulla, Addl. SP Baramulla, DySP DAR DPL Baramulla, SDPOs, IC PCs, SHOs, DOs of Baramulla Police and other officers of civil Administration Baramulla where present.


Outgoing DIG NKR Baramulla & SSP Baramulla addressed the gathering, thanking all senior officers for the opportunity and praising the support and dedication shown by all units. They commended their combined efforts for keeping things calm in the district and encouraged that trend to continue in future also.
Outgoing SSP Baramulla thanked civil society organisations, PRI’s of district Baramulla for coming up voluntarily and assisting the police whenever the police needed.
He noted that the law and order situation was also under control due to the cooperation and good relationship between the district administration and police.
