Baramulla :In connection with the mysterious disappearance of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Gurmeet Singh of the Roads and Buildings Department (R&B), Baramulla, on the evening of 25th August 2023, the Baramulla Police has taken significant steps to ensure a thorough investigation into the matter.
Baramulla Police has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DSP Hqrs Baramulla to lead the investigation into the missing case of Er. Gurmeet Singh. The team comprises seasoned officers who are committed to uncovering the truth behind this unfortunate incident.
In collaboration with the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the Indian Navy, Baramulla Police has launched an extensive search operation in the vicinity of river Jehlum, particularly near the Eco Park area. The combined efforts of these agencies aim to locate any clues that may lead to understanding Er. Gurmeet’s whereabouts.
The sudden and unexplained disappearance of Er. Gurmeet Singh has caused considerable distress and concern among his family, friends, and the Sikh community at large. The local community is rallying together to support the efforts to find him and bring an end to this distressing situation.
