Baramulla | September 20, 2026:
Baramulla Police conducted a raid at Darpora, Delina, today as part of its continued action against illegal mining activities. During the operation, five motors being used for illegal sand extraction were seized and brought to Police Post Delina.
The Geology & Mining Department was immediately informed, and necessary action under the MMDR Act has been initiated against the violations.
Baramulla Police reiterates its commitment to curbing illegal mining and protecting public resources, in coordination with the concerned departments.
