Srinagar, Sep 23 :

Peoples Conference on Saturday refused to comment on the utterances made against the party by former minister Taj Mohiuddin, saying, it is beneath their dignity to reply to the deadwood.

“It is beneath the dignity of PC cadre to reply to the deadwood,” PC spokesman Adnan Ashraf told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)

In an interview with KNO, Taj Mohiuddin, who is close associate of former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, said that the recent revelations made by former governor Satya Pal Malik indicate the PC’s position.
This is the first time when Ghulam Nabi Azad-led group has attacked Peoples Conference which has so far maintained silence on his plans to launch a political party in J&K.

While Congress and Apni Party have termed Ghulam Nabi Azad’s yet-to-be-launched political party as “BJP’s creation,” NC, PC and PDP have not made any critical remarks against him—(KNO)
