BARAMULLA, MARCH,16:
Police under the supervision of Sh Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS, Offg. DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by DySP Prob Naveed Ahmad Qazi arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Irfan Rasool Lone S/O Gh Rasool Lone R/O Kralpora Fatehgarh & Amir Ahmad Wani S/O Ab Gani Wani R/O Zandfaran Sheeri who were travelling in a vehicle *bearing registration No. *JK05L-2188 from Sheeri towards Baramulla* and were intercepted at naka near Khanpora Baramulla. All Drug Peddlers were taken into custody immediately and vehicle was also seized.
During their personal search 20 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
