2 Drug smugglers Saqib & Adnan of Sopore arrested; 80 grams of contraband Charas like substance & 104 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus alongwith cash INR 102000/- at Diver Crossing Pattan during naka checking; Vehicle seized; Case registered..
According to police Spokesman that Police under the supervision of Sh Mohd Nawaz-JKPS, SDPO Pattan assisted by PSI Zilal Ahmad, IC PP Mirgund arrested Drug smugglers namely Saqib Lateef Sofi S/O Abdul Lateef Sofi R/O Sempora Sopore & Adnan Naseer Bisati S/O Naseer Ahmad R/O Baghi Sana Badambagh Sopore during naka checking at Diver Crossing Pattan who were coming in a vehicle Tavera bearing registration number HP54A-7549 from Baramulla towards Srinagar and upon seeing the naka party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During their personal search 80 grams of contraband Charas like substance & 104 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus alongwith cash INR 102000/- was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Pattan and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
