While treasuries across Kashmir province are functioning smoothly but unfortunately Baramulla Treasury has become tragedy and headache for common people, contractors as well as for suppliers.
Officials of Baramulla Treasury especially S.O. and accounts clerk of the said Treasury is creating unnecessarily problems and queries to various government bills and are keeping them there for days together without informing the concerned departments.
The approach and attitude of said officials is so negative and arrogant that many people of Baramulla have given up there profession just for the negativity adopted by the Baramulla Treasury.
Peritent to mention here that the Treasury officer Baramulla is polite,sincere and honest in her working. But the irony is that the S.O. and accounts clrek of the Treasury Baramulla is misleading his seniors as well and is completely responsible for the mess and hardships being faced by the people at his hands.
One of the supplier told SNS Kashmir that he got the supply order through E tendring process .Concern deportment forwarded the bill for payment to treasure Baramulla with all codal formalities in the month of August last week. Since from one and half month every day the lover staff is raising one and another queries he said .If at the time of receiving the bill from concern Department S O or accounts clerk would have examined the bill and put note on it that these queries needs to be replied by department before bill is process for payment .But they keeping bills pending there and raising queries one another one he said .
By doing these tak tikes they are compelling the concerned contactors to pay hefty amount according to there demond he said.
People have appealed Chief Secretary, And Add Chief Secretary finance of UT Jammu and Kashmir to reshuffle the staff in Treasury. Baramulla so that poor people will not suffer more.
