CPI (M) leader and former MLA M Y Tarigami on Tuesday filed his nomination papers from the 39-Kulgam assembly constituency.

As per reports , Tarigami filed his nomination papers in the office of the Returning Officer for Kulgam constituency, the polls for which will be conducted during first phase of Assembly Elections scheduled on 18 September 2024.

CPI (M) leader while heading to file his nomination papers was accompanied by party workers and supporters, who electrified the environment by sloganeering.

A road show was also held from Bus stand Larnoo to mini stadium Chawalgam in which a number of locals took part.

Tarigami will contest the 39-Kulgam assembly seat to fight other contesting leaders, including PC’s Nazir Ahmad Laway.
