During the review, the DC underscored the critical importance of a robust and proactive disaster management mechanism, stressing that preparedness is the cornerstone of effective disaster response.

The DC emphasized that in times of crisis, there must be absolute clarity regarding roles and responsibilities, and all concerned agencies and departments should function in a synchronized manner to mitigate risks and safeguard lives and property.

Additionally, the DC directed the R&B Department to conduct a comprehensive structural assessment of all school buildings in the district to determine their safety and suitability for use to safeguard students and staff in case of any disasters.
