19 September, 2022: The 3 day conference (15 to 18 September) organised by Down Syndrome Federation of India concluded on 18th of September in Mayfair lake restaurant Raipur Chattisgarh.

The conference was organised for the specially abled students affected with the Downs Syndrome. Pertinently Down syndrome is a genetic disorder caused when abnormal cell division results in an extra full or partial copy of chromosome 21. This extra genetic material causes the developmental changes and physical features of Down syndrome.

In the said conference senior journalist from Baramulla Anzer Mohju was awarded for working in favour of Children affected with Downs Syndrome.  Dr. Rekha Chairperson Down Syndrome Federation of India  presented the award to him in presence of prominent doctors  from India and abroad  who participated in the said conference.

Colourful functions  were  organised in the conference in which hundreds of families of Down Syndrome Children participated.
