Uri: Police has arrested a drug paddler along with 105 gram of contraband Heroin like substances from Mohura Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Police sources said that during naka checking at Mohura Uri, Police under the supervision of Inspector Imtiyaz Ahmad, SHO PS Uri witnessed a suspicious person who upon noticing the police party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.

During his personal search 104 grams of contraband Heroin like substance was recovered and was immediately seized, sources added.

They identitifed the arrested drug peddler as Raja Tanvir son of Raja Hassan of Mohura Uri. Police has registered a case under FIR No 02 of 2023 under section 8/21 under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Uri and investigation set in motion. General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
